Lost at Sea
The Bermuda Triangle needs no introduction. It has amazed people across the globe, reaching all the way from the common person to scientists who study the phenomenon. The amazement lies partly in how it cannot be fully understood. The exact nature of the mechanics of the triangle that make it so prone to mass disappearances is debatable. It was said to have an abnormal magnetic force that will wreck havoc on nearby GPS systems, leaving captains to rely on their sense of navigation to reach help. Other people (probably only me, though) like to believe it is because of some supernatural being or Atlantis situation that’s best explained by the side of my personality that likes to learn about random urban legends and watch Criminal Mind well into the night. But I’ll save that for next Friday’s post.
The other part of its strangeness is how a lot of people have started to investigate the possibility of a portal being at the heart of the triangle, which is definitely where it starts to get interesting. The theories including themes of space and time travel are extensive, and they all revolve around the fact that NASA’s Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) space mission was actually sent out to use the portal’s power for the wrong reasons. Dun dun duuun.
The possibilities are endless on this topic and you can catch up on your Bermuda Triangle theories here. Happy Halloween!!
